Meet Kal and Blake, these boys arrived at their rescue separately but are now inseparable.
Kal ( short coat) arrived almost 3 years ago, he was a very young pup. At the time, another rescue had homes waiting for young lurchers. Kal went to them.
Moving forward two years, they contacted the rescue looking for Kal’s medical history as he had hair loss on both his flanks! Kai was immediately brought back to rescue. He underwent every test possible to diagnose his hair loss. There was absolutely no medical reason for it other than kennel stress.
A few months in and all his coat has grown back.
Blake ( Saluki x ) came to rescue after he was found in a very distressed state during a storm. He was absolutely terrified. The finder kept him for a few days until he had calmed down a wee bit.
Blake was extremely fearful of strangers. He was paired with Kal as he has a very outgoing personality. It was the best decision for both boys, and they instantly bonded.
