Charlie the golden Labrador is looking for his forever home. He came to us from the local dog pound at approximately 18 months old. It quickly became apparent that Charlie did not receive any training at all. No obedience training, no lead training, absolutely nothing. Which resulted in a fully grown Lab that pulls on the lead, is boisterous and likes to jump on people. Charlie’s previous owners have failed him.
However, this boy is full of affection and goofiness. Charlie is very trainable and extremely clever. He thrives on praise and will work for tasty treats. Tara has started Halti and basic obedience training.
Charlie needs the following home:
💚 an active family that is fully committed to continuing with Charlie’s training.
💚 a family that is prepared to put work, time and patience into Charlie and will help him reach his full potential.
💚 as an only dog or with a female k9 companion, depending on the introduction.
💚no cats.
💚older, dog savvy children.
💚a secure garden
