Little Buddy is a 7 year old JRT. He came to rescue after his elderly owners became to ill to care for him. He immediately stole the heart of one of the staff and she has been taking home for sleep overs…
Here’s what she has to say about him…
Buddy is such a sweetheart, he just wants a lap or cushion to call his own.
He’s very quiet and didn’t bark once while we had him, he walked great on his lead, and barely noticed or cared about other dogs while on his walks.
He loves his food and gets very excited at meal times and of course loves a treat every now and then too. He’s super curious and loves to potter around and explore his surroundings.
He’s a very chill little guy and would make a great companion and is brilliant company to have around as he loves people.
He has really come out of his shell since arriving at the Rescue and shows us a little more of his adorable personality everyday.
Buddy would need to be an only dog, he will require a little patience in the house traini g department.
Also, no small children as he is not used to them.
Ideally an older family/person who wants a little companion.
Big Buddy is a very handsome 2/3 year old black labrador. He was found as a stray, taken to the pound and not reclaimed…
We call him the ” velcro dog” he just loves people. He is also great with the girl pooches here at the rescue. Buddy does lack confidence, ideally he would need a confident female K9 companion.
Someone has done some work with him, he is clean in his kennel and sits if you ask!!
You will need to give this young man a little time and lots of love!!
He will flourish…we already see a huge difference in him.
